The Stockings Are Hung by the Chimney with Care
Here is my Christmas theme that has evolved over the years. There is the buffalo-plaid skirt. Burlap ribbon with the required red pickup truck coming back with a tree. I call it my transportation tree as the ornaments are all related to transportation with many of them Hallmark vehicles. Due to the fact I am an old car buff. The topper is a light star which is intended to mimic the “Star of Bethlehem” The fireplace made by my great-grandpa Brown sports a cardinal on the mantle and another red truck with a tree.
Quite possibly, my most favorite time the year for family and the Christmas spirit. However, for the temperature and the colors. I prefer the spring and fall.
